LOCATION:    Southmont Football/Soccer/Track Complex. 


PRE-MATCH:  Five-minutes prior to match time, the officials and both teams will be introduced from the center of the field with each member taking a step forward when her name is read.  All team members and coaches will be introduced with the starting members introduced last. The National Anthem will be played immediately after the introductions for the first match only.


WARM-UP:    Pre-match warm-up will be 20-minutes. 


HALF TIME:    Half time will be 10-minutes.


DRAW:  The second team in each match will be designated as the home team and will wear dark colored uniforms & dark colored socks.  The first team named (visitors) will wear light uniforms & light colored socks. (It is encouraged that teams bring both color of socks in the event that a team does not have the appropriate contrasting color.)  The home team shall have choice of bench except when participating against the host team.


PARTICIPANTS:  Schools may have a maximum of 25 players dressed for each match.  The only representatives of the school allowed on the bench are the players, coaches, managers, and the athletic trainer. 


ADMISSION:  $6.00 Session and $10.00 Season

  Pre-school children will be admitted free of charge.

  There will NOT be a pre-sale of tickets


LOCKER ROOMS:  Locker rooms will be available upon request only.  If you need a locker room please make request to tournament director prior to the day of the match.     


TEAM PARKING:  Team buses should park in Lot G located northeast of the stadium.  Teams should drive north of the high school and follow the road around to this area once on campus.  Please relay this information to bus drivers. 


SEATING:  We have plenty of bleacher space at the stadium.  There is no need to bring a fold up chair. 


RESTROOMS/CONCESSIONS:  Located south of the stadium as you enter through the main gate.


ATHLETIC TRAINER: We will have a trainer on site and will be stationed between the benches.


AWARDS:  Sectional Champion – Sectional Trophy and Game Ball

                      Sectional Runner Up – Game Ball

         Awards will take place immediately following the championship game.


RESTRICTIONS:  (Reprinted from IHSAA Fall Bulletin)

Principals should inform students and adult fans of the following tourney restrictions:

  1. Balloons, banners and/or posters, etc. are not permitted.
  2. No battery-powered or electronic noise-makers, sirens or whistles are allowed.
  3. Cheerleaders are not permitted on the playing field.
  4. The use of bands at IHSAA tourneys is not permitted.
  5. Throwing of articles, including toilet tissue, is not allowed.
  6. No live animal mascots are permitted.
  7. Solicitations, donations, contributions and aggressive vending of               school spirit items are not permitted.
  8. It shall be the responsibility of each high school principal to                 see that the above restrictions are enforced.


FIELD RESTRICTIONS:  Please help us keep our turf field looking good.

  1. No Gum or Sunflower Seeds Allowed
  2. No Food Allowed
