Monrovia Bulldogs Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Monrovia Bulldogs fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-2 loss to Mooresville on Friday. Mooresville scored on a home run by #7 and a double by #32 in the first inning.
The Monrovia Bulldogs struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Mooresville, giving up 11 runs.
Mooresville got things moving in the first inning. Mooresville scored three runs when #7 homered.
#10 earned the win for Mooresville. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out two. #21 and #7 entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Zach Shomber took the loss for Monrovia Bulldogs. He went two innings, allowing six runs on three hits and striking out three.
